Description

Power supply for IP phones via the network.

With the auerswald PoE injector, a IEEE 802.3af compatible network device, e. g. Wireless Access Point, IP Phone or network camera, directly via the network cable supplied with power. Thus, the connection via the network cable powered devices can also be connected to a non-DINED LAN switch port is possible. The power supply via the network connection reduces the number of cables and increases the flexibility in the choice of the site. A separate plug-in power supply is not needed, for the connection, only the network cable is required and the device must not be in the direct vicinity of a socket.
