Description

Control who is at the door by first viewing and talking to the person through the Smartwares DIC-22142 Video Door Entry Control. The video intercom comprises a brushed aluminium outdoor unit with camera and an indoor unit with LCD monitor. Easy 2-wire installation allows the intercom to be used with virtually any existing doorbell wiring.

Always know who is ringing the doorbell:
The indoor unit has an elegant design and a 3.5 inch (8.9 cm) LCD monitor that lets you see who is ringing the doorbell. Install the additional indoor unit in another room to ensure that you can respond to the doorbell in several places at home. So you always know who is visiting you and can decide if you want to open the door.
Handsfree mode:
Thanks to handsfree mode, you do not need to pick up the handset and the answer button makes operation easier. You can also select from 12 different melodies and change the volume. So you can adapt the intercom individually to your requirements.
Always the right angle:
The outdoor unit is weatherproof and suitable for outdoor installation. Thanks to the bell button with integrated nameplate, your visitors don't have to search for the right bell. With the help of the 15° pan/tilt function, you can align the VGA camera so that you can clearly see who is at the door at all times. And thanks to the integrated LEDs, you can see visitors even at night up to 1 m away.
Use the existing wiring:
The intercom is 2-wire, making installation a breeze. To be on the safe side, always check your wiring first. The narrow indoor unit can be mounted on the wall and is powered by the included power supply. No effort, but a simple and quick installation.
Welcome your guests:
The intercom can be extended by an additional indoor unit so that you can respond to the doorbell from different places at home. The intercom can be connected to an electric door or gate opener so that you can open the door simply by pressing a button on the indoor unit. The unlocking time is adjustable from 1-2 to 4-7 seconds. You can use your existing electric door opener or one of the two electric door openers DB5005 or DB5005L.
