Product Features
The TL-SF1005P includes five 10/100/-Mbit/s ports, four of them with PoE, and requires no configuration or software installation. The device automatically detects and feeds connected PoE terminals. This ensures both data transfer and power supply via a single cable. This significantly facilitates network expansion.
Power over Ethernet
Four of the five ports of this switch support Power over Ethernet. The device automatically detects and connects devices connected via PoE.
overload protection
The TL-SF1005P has a priority circuit that protects the system from overload. If the total power consumption of the PoE terminals exceeds 56W, the devices with the lowest priority are switched off.
Port priority function
Priority (Port 1>Port 2>Port 3>Port 4): This useful function protects the system from overload damage. If the requested power exceeds 56W, port 4 is switched off. Example: Ports 1, 2 and 4 use 15.4W each (this is the maximum possible power per port). The total power is 46.2W. If port 3 with 12W is still used, port 4 is switched off by the priority function. This means that port 1 and port 2 are now supplied with 15.4W each and port 3 with 12W, port 4 does not give any performance.
