The Verbatim ToughMAX USB 2.0 Stick consists of KyronMAX™ composites, a thermoplastic metal spare material that can withstand high loads and for the most challenging applications in nozzle jets to mountain bikes is used. KyronMAX™ composite materials are due to their extremely low weight and high robustness optimally suitable as USB-housing material, are characterised by their resistance against virtually everything and protect your data against physical damage.

KyronMAX™ compounds are manufactured by the company Piper plastics such as verbatim a group companies from Mitsubishi Chemical. This extraordinary material is in many industries such as aerospace, medical, industrial and automotive industry. It has a higher tensile strength than steel.
