The 5-port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ switch with SFP combo port (561174) from Intellinet Network Solutions is an excellent solution for transmitting data and power to PoE-compliant devices over Cat5e or Cat6 network cables. Equipped with five Gigabit Ethernet ports (all with 802.3at/af PoE/PoE+ support), this switch provides power to access points and bridges, VoIP phones, IP cameras and much more, while simultaneously delivering transmission speeds up to 1000 Mbps.
Power over Ethernet 802.3at
This switch supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol, delivering up to 30 watts of power per port*. IEEE802.3af- or IEEE802.3at-compliant devices connected to the switch do not require an additional power supply, which saves considerable costs and time for the laying of power lines and eliminates a lot of cable clutter and adapters at exposed locations such as walls and ceilings. Any combination of PoE and non-PoE devices is supported and your equipment is well protected against short circuits, overload and overvoltage. For devices that do not support the 802.3at/af standard (older access points or network cameras), we recommend using an Intellinet PoE/PoE+ splitter.
Gigabit Uplink
This switch is equipped with a Gigabit uplink port that is available both as an integrated RJ45 port and as an optional SFP module slot. This port is ideal for connection to a backbone, server or network video recorder (NVR).
