The Fully Managed Switch is your professional for internal networking with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and two combo ports. Designed without a fan, it is ideal for office environments and for sub-distribution in branch infrastructures - wherever full management but no PoE power supply is required. In terms of quality and performance, the smallest manageable switch is in no way inferior to the larger ones and, thanks to its functional scope, provides security and flexibility. The LANCOM GS-2310 is equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 combo ports (Ethernet or fiber optics). With a data throughput of 20 GBit/s on the backplane, it offers full performance even at high load. The switch thus forms the powerful basis for modern network infrastructures in small and home offices.
Software-defined LAN
The LANCOM Management Cloud opens the way to state-of-the-art switch management: Software-defined LAN (SD-LAN). SD-LAN orchestrates the port profiles of all switches and automatically assigns the necessary network configuration, such as VLANs. The LANCOM GS-2310 ensures that no unauthorized clients have access to the network. This is made possible by secure access control on all ports according to IEEE 802.1X (port-based, single, multi and MAC-based).
Secure remote management
Thanks to secure communication protocols such as SSH, SSL and SNMPv3, the LANCOM GS-2310 enables professional remote management of the network. The switch also supports the TACACS+ protocol for authentication, authorization and accounting. The LANCOM GS-2310 can be used in pure IPv4, pure IPv6 or mixed networks thanks to dual stack implementation. Thus it can be administered via both IP address standards and thus stands for full future security.
