Description

The AFG-3031 function generator with direct digital signal generation (DDS) offers a bandwidth of 30 MHz. The equipment includes the standard signals sine, square, ramp, pulse, noise, DC, sin(x)/x, exponential rise, exponential fall, negative ramp and 200 MSa/s arbitrary waveform. Additionally the functions AM/FM/PWM/FSK modulation, sweep and burst are available. The 10.9 cm LCD graphic colour monitor displays all parameters and settings as well as the waveform. A USB interface can be used for remote control with a computer. The arbitrary waveform can be generated via the freely downloadable PC® software and transferred to the generator via USB. In combination with the storage oscilloscopes of the GDS-3000 series it is possible to digitally regenerate a measured signal (PWR).
