The Intel® RealSense ™ D400 Series Deep Camera uses Stereo vision to calculate depth. The D415 is a USB-powered low-level camera and consists of a pair of depth sensors, an RGB sensor and an infrared projector. Ideal for manufacturers and developers, it extends their prototype development to include the ability to perceive depth.
The Deep Camera includes:
- a powerful image processing processor that uses 28 nanometers (nm) process technology and supports up to 5 MIPI Camera Serial Interface 2 lanes to calculate real-time depth images and speed output
- new and enhanced stereo depth algorithm for accurate depth perception and wide range
of a range of image sensors, Capture disparities between images up to 1280x720 resolution
- Support for the new Intel® RealSense™ SDK 2.0 cross-platform open source
- dedicated color image signal processor for image adjustment and scaling of color data
- Active infrared projector for object illumination to enhance depth data
