For LED applications
With the addition of the SLT series of super-flat LED power supplies from SELF Electronics, we offer a solution for LED applications that require a compact design. The power supplies of the SLT6- to SLT100-VFG and SLT6- to SLT20-IFG series were specially developed for modern LED lighting applications in indoor areas. The particularly flat profile from 14 to 16.7 mm overall height enables easy installation, for example in confined spaces and in and behind cabinets. The power supplies are suitable for mounting on materials with unknown flammability properties (MM symbol) and can also be used as independent control gear outside luminaires. The output is SELV compliant and the power supply is protected against open circuit, short circuit, overload and overheating. After a cause of error has been rectified, an automatic restart is performed. The power supplies meet the relevant EMC and safety standards and have an operating life of up to 50,000 hours.

Caution!
Make sure you pick an LED driver/transformer that comes with the appropriate power rating.
Choose a driver/transformer that supplies approx. 30 pecent more watttage,
as the current consumption (i.e. amperage) of the LEDs is key, and not the power rating of the LED provided by the LED manufacturer.
Keep in mind that the switch-on surge tend to be much higher.
