The LED power supplies of the SLT96-VLC-UN series from Self Electronics were specially developed for modern IP67 LED lighting applications in the outdoor sector and have a particularly compact design. They have a wide range input and can be operated with 230VAC as well as 110 VAC. Thanks to the flat profile of only 23mm height, easy installation is possible, e.g. in confined spaces and in or behind cabinets. Self's highly efficient SLT96-VLC-UN series of power supplies, with an efficiency of up to 92.5%, are suitable for mounting on materials with unknown flammability characteristics (MM symbol) and can also be used as independent control gear outside luminaires. With a stand-by power consumption of less than 0.3 watts and a start-up time of less than 500ms, the LED power supplies meet the current eco-design requirements. In addition, they meet the relevant EMC and safety standards, are VDE-certified and have an operating expectation of up to 100,000 hours, based on a housing temperature of 75°C. Their output is SELV compliant, the power supplies provide protection against open circuit, short circuit, overload and overheating. After a cause of error has been rectified, an automatic restart is performed. The SLT96-VLC-UN series can be ordered now with a 5-year warranty.

Caution!
Make sure you pick an LED driver/transformer that comes with the appropriate power rating.
Choose a driver/transformer that supplies approx. 30 pecent more watttage,
as the current consumption (i.e. amperage) of the LEDs is key, and not the power rating of the LED provided by the LED manufacturer.
Keep in mind that the switch-on surge tend to be much higher.
