Description
With the 30 Watt series SLT30-VLG-ES from Self Electronics we now offer high-quality new 12 Volt and 24 Volt constant voltage power supplies. Thanks to optimized circuit topology and efficient production processes, the power supply products have a very good price/performance ratio. The low power consumption of the power supplies in standby mode and a start-up time of less than 500ms meet the requirements of the ERP guidelines. Even under unfavourable operating conditions and a maximum housing temperature of 75°C, the Self LED power supplies achieve a nominal service life of 35,000 hours. Protection against electric shock is provided by a SELV output of less than 60V. Additional safety is provided by protection against interruption, short circuit, overload and overheating. The MM symbol permits mounting on materials with unknown flammability properties; it can be used as an independent control gear. The series meets all current EN standards.

Caution!
Make sure you pick an LED driver/transformer that comes with the appropriate power rating.
Choose a driver/transformer that supplies approx. 30 pecent more watttage, as the current consumption (i.e. amperage) of the LEDs is key, and not the power rating of the LED provided by the LED manufacturer.
Keep in mind that the switch-on surge tend to be much higher.
