Description
Self Electronics has developed the 75W triac dimmable power supplies especially for LED applications in constant voltage mode without a separate control line for dimming. Self's LED power supplies have a SELV compliant constant voltage output of 12V or 24V and a dimming range of 5-100%. They comply with protection class II and are protected against interruption, short circuit, overload and overheating. An automatic restart takes place after the cause of the error has been rectified. The MM symbol permits mounting on materials with unknown flammability properties, and a clamp connection allows quick installation. With an efficiency of 86.5% (at full load), Self LED power supplies have an operating expectancy of 30,000 hours at 45°C package temperature. They can also be used as independent control gear outside luminaires.

Caution!
Make sure you pick an LED driver/transformer that comes with the appropriate power rating.
Choose a driver/transformer that supplies approx. 30 pecent more watttage, as the current consumption (i.e. amperage) of the LEDs is key, and not the power rating of the LED provided by the LED manufacturer.
Keep in mind that the switch-on surge tend to be much higher.
