Build and expand your network with the Ubiquiti Networks(R) UniFi(R) Switch, part of the UniFi product line. The UniFi Switch is a fully manageable PoE+ Gigabit switch that provides reliable performance and intelligent switching for growing networks.
Switching performance
The UniFi Switch provides such forwarding capacity that processes can run simultaneously on all ports at maximum data transfer rate without packet losses.br>
PoE+ flexibility
The UniFi Switch models are available with 24 or 48 PoE Gigabit Ethernet ports, either with auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af/at or configurable 24 V passive PoE to simplify your infrastructure.
The UniFi Switch automatically detects 802.3af/at devices so that they automatically receive PoE. For 24V passive PoE devices, manually activate 24V passive PoE with UniFi Controller software.
Fiber connectivity
The UniFi Switch provides fiber connectivity options for easy expansion of your network. Each UniFi switch model has two SFP ports for uplinks up to 1 Gbps. Each 48-port model also has two SFP+ ports for high-performance uplinks up to 10 Gbps, so you can connect directly to a powerful storage server or set up a long distance uplink to another switch.
UniFi Controller
The UniFi Controller is designed for convenient management, the software allows administrators to configure UniFi switches and other UniFi devices and monitor them using a graphical user interface. You can download it for free from www.ubnt.com - there is no additional software, license or support fee.
For advanced users CLI management is available via Telnet, SSH and the console port.
Multi-Site Management
A single UniFi controller can manage many UniFi sites in the cloud with a centralized interface. Each page is logically separated and has its own network monitoring, configuration, maps, statistics and admin accounts.
Switching Configuration
With the UniFi Controller you can access any UniFi switch and configure a variety of functions:
-PoE setting per port
-Operation mode (switching, mirroring or both together) per port
-Network/VLAN configuration
-Jumbo Frame and Flow Control Services
-Network settings
Switch port status
You can also view status information per port:connection speed and duplex mode
-TX/RX data rates
-PoE status
-network/VLAN settings
