Description

The digital squelch makes the operation of the 42 DS especially comfortable and guarantees at all times the optimum receiver sensitivity. By switching the country standard, the device can be used in any European country. The extensive accessories of the Alan 42 DS offer the possibility to use the device in different scenarios. Two changeable battery compartments are provided for portable use with rechargeable batteries or alkaline batteries. They can be simply exchanged for the on-board power adapter with 12V cigarette lighter socket to operate the device mobile in the car. External CB antenna with PL plug can be connected via an additional antenna connection of the on-board power adapter. The connection of accessories according to the Midland/Albrecht 2-pin standard enables the connection of external headsets for every application. Furthermore, the device offers a standard BNC antenna connection, in order to be able to further optimize the range during portable operation.
