The Automotive variant has two switchable CAN/CAN-FD-channels with RJ45 sockets
The USB-to-CAN FD has - depending on the device type - up to two switchable CAN channels, the ISO CAN-FD, non-ISO CAN-FD and can support high-speed, the automotive version has an additional LIN-interface.
Through the use of high-performance hardware and the connection via USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (480 MBit/s), the interfaces a very high data throughput at the same time minimum latency times and low power consumption. To enable a reliable, loss-less sending and receiving messages in CAN-FD and CAN networks with high transmission rate and bus load. In addition, messages are provided with a time stamp and can directly in the USB-to-CAN FD filtered and stored.
Due to the extremely interesting price and the compact design, the USB-to-CAN FD interface for use in series products as well as in conjunction with the cananalyzer for development, service and maintenance work.
LIN (automotive variant)
The LIN communication is either in the LIN-master or slave mode supported. As LIN-slave responds the Interface independently on received master requests. The response data by means of buffer via the PC-API is updated. In the master mode, the master calls by the PC application processes. LIN messages are received with time stamp, master request, response, as well as status information to the application.
With the newly developed, robust housing is a customer-specific adaptation (custom design/fire labelling) simply possible.
All USB-to-CAN FD variants by the IXXAT driver packages, the APIs for higher CAN-Protocols, as well as through the IXXAT Tools supports.
