Description
ReSpeaker is an open, modular voice interface to hack things around you. Interact with your home appliances, equipment, office, Internet-enabled devices, or other everyday things with your voice.
This is a language-enabled extension for your environment.
ReSpeaker supports both online cognition services and offline light speech recognition modules. You can add ReSpeaker to the things around you to make them smart (smarter).
It is a music streaming device.
The voice interface has never been separated from the music entertainment, nor has ReSpeaker. Speaker supports Airplay/DLNA for wireless music streaming. Simply connect the ReSpeaker to an ordinary speaker with an AUX cable and you can enjoy the music you love without pressing a single button.
It is a learning program for children.
Instead of the integrated MT7688 Wi-Fi module that runs the Linux-based OpenWrt, ReSpeaker is also powered by the ATmega32u4 chip and is absolutely Arduino-capable, was that we can use ReSpeaker as a powerful Arduino board and do many Arduino things. It's for learning, it's for practicing and it's for fun.
Installation-free APP for anyone
exposed PCB design doesn't mean that ReSpeaker is just for people who know a lot about hardware or software.
ReSpeaker uses a user-friendly web-based app that can be set up by anyone in minutes. The app provides access to a range of applications that ReSpeaker provides, including music streaming, file manager, plug-in, custom settings, and more.
Ever-growing features
The plug-in system is designed specifically for users to share and download their language-interactive projects as a simple plug-in for the ReSpeaker module. It has made using ReSpeaker much easier, since anyone with a ReSpeaker can install the desired plug-ins with a single click and then perform the voice interaction like everyone else.
Developer-friendly
developers can, of course, do more with the SDK we offer to develop their own language interaction projects.
Modular design and expandable add-ons
The far-field MIC array allows your speaker to recognize your location and listen to you from anywhere in the room, even while the music is playing.
And the Grove Extension Board offers even more possibilities, as you can connect various Grove sensors and actuators to expand its capabilities. The two onboard expansion headers also offer I2S, I2C, AUX, USB 2.0, GPIOs and many other interfaces that you can use for other applications.
We make ReSpeaker compatible with the WIO family so you can add voice interaction with any of your IoT devices based on WIO. Simply pair your ReSpeaker with your WIO product via our Web app, then you can control your pet feed to deliver treats by voice or ask your smart plant if it needs some water.
