The diskAshur 2 USB 3.1 HDD / SDD is an ultra-secure, PIN-authenticated, hardware-encrypted portable hard drive, the use of the device could not be easier: Connect the integrated USB cable to a computer and enter a 7- to 15-digit PIN. If the correct PIN is entered, all data on the hard disk is decrypted and accessible. To lock the drive, simply disconnect it from the host computer and all data stored on the device will be encrypted with 256-bit AES-XTS military hardware encryption (full drive encryption)

One of the unique underlying security features of the GDPR compliant diskAshur2 is the dedicated, hardware-based, secure microprocessor (CC EAL4+ enabled), which uses built-in physical protection to provide protection against external tampering, bypass attacks, and more. The device responds to an attack by switching to the frozen lock state.

Auto-lock
The diskAshur2 is automatically locked when disconnected from the host computer or when power is disconnected from the USB port. It can also be set to lock automatically after a certain period of time.

Wear-resistant keypad coated with epoxy:
Safety played a major role in the design of the wear-resistant, epoxy-coated keypad. The key operation remains hidden, which prevents potential hackers from receiving information about frequently used keys.

Self-destructive function
You can pre-program the drive with your own unique self-destruction PIN. Immediately after entering this PIN, the encryption key, all PINs and data are deleted and a new encryption key is generated.

Tamperproof design:
All components of the drive are completely covered by an extremely durable epoxy resin layer. This can practically not be removed without irreversible damage to the components. This layer of protection prevents potential hackers from accessing the critical components, and potential attacks remain without consequences.
