The external slimline Blu-ray writer Ultra HD 4K is compatible with a wide range of optical discs. From BDXL 100 GB directly down to a 700 MB CD! The included award-winning Nero** burning and archiving software includes many features including DiscSpan, MediaHome and SecureDisc technology to help you organize, burn and archive your important files. Different streaming options, including the Nero Streaming Player app, allow you to show your movies, photos, slideshows and other media on different devices such as smartphones, tablets and smart TVs. You can also add password protection for added security and an electronic signature so everyone knows you own the copyright.

Fast burning
Burn a standard DVD with 8x and a single-layer and double-layer Blu-ray disc with 6x speed and a BDXL disc with 4x speed. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Writer supports buffer undershoot protection, which prevents problems during recording.

Save energy
The Blu-ray writer is also designed to save precious energy. It supports Zero Power ODD (optical disc drive), which reduces the power consumption of the optical disc drive in the operating system to zero to save energy when the drive is not in use.
