Overview
With Arduino Uno WiFi, you can add WiFi to your devices. It's basically an Arduino Uno Rev3 with more kick: It comes with a brand new 8-bit microprocessor from Microchip and an integrated IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). The WiFi connection is secured with the new ECC608 Cryptochip Accelerator.
Description
When you add this board to a device, you can connect it to a Wi-Fi network using the ECC608 Secure Cryptochip Accelerator. The Arduino Uno WiFi is functionally identical to the Arduino Uno Rev3, but with the addition of WiFi and some other improvements. It includes a brand new 8-bit microprocessor from Microchip and has an integrated inertial measurement unit (IMU). The Wi-Fi module is a standalone SoC with an integrated TCP/IP protocol stack that can allow access to a Wi-Fi network or act as an access point. The Arduino Uno WiFi has 14 digital input/output pins - 5 can be used as PWM outputs with pin 11, which is not PWM like the analogueue inputs of the UNO Rev3 -6, a USB port, a power source, an ICSP header and a reset button. It contains everything was needed to support the microcontroller. Simply connect it to a computer via a USB cable or operate it with a power supply or a battery to get started.
