Description

Thanks to this shield, you can now connect your MKR board to all industrial systems that use the RS 485 protocol. The Shield MKR 485 is the ultimate extension, which enables MKR boards to connect with almost every older industrial system, such as industrial PLCs, controllers, drivers and HMIs. Old industrial systems (e.g. machines, heaters and conveyor belts) can be converted into IoT devices via a serial connection with the MKR 485. The Shield is based on THE MAXIM MAX3157 and offers half / full duplex . Standard mode: Half duplex
