With the pinBox, a connection to a PC in the home network can be established via the Internet via almost any browser.
The pinBox is therefore an interesting alternative to a VPN. The advantage is that there is no need to install or configure anything on the access page.
Access is encrypted using the Internet standard. The free certificate system "Let’s Encrypt" is supported.
As a further security level, an additional security code can be requested for registration, which is made available via e-mail or the Google Authenticator.
A computer that is switched off can be started by an alarm signal before the connection is established.
