Description
The UBEC is an external DC-DC switching module which draws its voltage from 2-6S Lipos. The module regulates the voltage down to a previously defined value which is required by the receiver or other electronic devices. This is extremely stable and the output current is permanently up to 10A or temporarily at 20A.
Since this UBEC is so powerful, it is particularly suitable for helicopters and other flight models.
Characteristics
It possesses an extended DC-DC controller chip, which exceeds a conversion efficiency of 90%
Various options in the output voltage as for receiver, gyro, servo and more
It has a BEC "shoot-through" protection, which prevents the input voltage from flowing right into the output. Thus, the electrical components are optimally protected
Further protection mechanisms such as overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection and heat protection provide even more safety
Two cables connected in parallel at the output of the UBEC enable the flow of much higher voltage
A status LED signals the correct voltage at the output
The external switch allows the UBEC to be switched on and off
The elegant aluminum housing optimally reduces the temperature and electromagnetic interference
