The CMC – Rogowskispule deals with the application of unwanted common-mode currents in systems with AC motors. The CMC serves as an important tool to evaluate this effect and to initiate the appropriate countermeasures.
Application areas:
Motor drive shaft currents
Wave currents at generators
Drives with variable frequency converters
Phase or fault currents in three-phase systems
Variable frequency converters (VSD) which can be used to control AC motors can lead to unwanted coupling of large, high-frequency PWM signals with the mechanical parts of the motor bearing. These discharge currents can cause heating and spark erosion on the mechanically moving parts of the motor. In the end, these discharge currents can cause premature failure and therefore high maintenance and downtime.
4 m cable length between coil and integrator available by special procurement.
Please make sure that all specifications meet your requirements. (Cable length, loop length, etc.). This is necessary because all cwt´s are custom-made and are therefore excluded from the exchange.
