Magellan 1500i Series 2D Imager - Premium models for POS or customer service applications
Designed for POS and customer service applications, the Magellan 1500i is a powerful presentation scanner. It is based on a powerful imager and with its modern, compact design fits on every sales and service table. Equipped with Digimarc barcode technology, it captures standard 1D and 2D codes as well as watermark codes and is thus a safe investment in the future.
The Magellan 1500i possesses an innovative megapixel sensor and adjustable optics and captures codes up to a distance of 25 cm. Its sweep speed for 1D codes is up to 1.5 m/s. Powerful decoding algorithms guarantee the recording of 1D and 2D codes including damaged and compressed codes. This means that the presentation scanner stands for maximum user-friendliness and fast and intuitive data acquisition processes.
The new lighting system enables the detection of printed codes as well as of displays of mobile devices.
If the scanner is taken in the hand, it switches automatically to the hand scanner mode thanks to Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion sensor technology. Additional functions such as target lighting and Green Spot technology simplify every scanning process. As soon as the scanner is turned off, it returns directly to presentation mode.
