Overview

Enables: Control of output voltage in a range of 0-105%, and/or output current of 0-105% of the AEK/AE Cotek series via RS232 or RS485 in parallel operation.

Description

Control board the circuit board CT-551 is used as a slave for control in parallel operation (current modulation). A master CT-251 is required for operation via RS232.
The board can also be used for controlling directly via RS485.
The board has a RS485 port input, a RS485 port output for controlling further power supplies with CT-551 and a connection plug (CN1) to the power supply.
A maximum of 8 power supplies can be controlled for parallel operation. (1 Master CT-251 - Conrad Item No.: R090321 - and 7 Slaves CT-551)

Additional hardware required:
The following additional components are required to control the power supplies:
- Power supply COTEK AE / AEK - Series
- Control board CT-251(Conrad Item No.: R090321) as master, 1 CT-551 each for each additional power supply (slave)
- PC or laptop with existing COM port/RS232, USB-to-RS232 adapter or USB-to-RS485 adapter
- null modem cable
