Description

With the particularly slim jaw of this clamp-on ammeter, individual wires between the cable shaft and contactor can be clearly grip better. The solution for tightly laid cables in the control cabinet.

In between
With the specially shaped, narrow jaw jaw, tightly wired cables in control cabinets can be easily accessed. With conventionally shaped pliers, the cable to be measured must usually be pulled out of the cable duct. Not so with the VOLTCRAFT VC-337. The simply passes through between adjacent lines.

Slotted hole for more flexible working
The measuring opening has a diameter of 5.5mm. Cables up to 6mm² can be tapped. The pliers offer a very good compromise between the size of the clamp jaw and the safety class with appropriate insulation. The pliers can also be set at an angle. The shape of the opening makes it possible.

Quick and efficient tapping with cable stopper
The open clamp has a stop. Therefore, cables cannot get too deep into the clamp jaw.

Compact and robust
The shock-proof device features a composite enclosure including a protective rubber layer. And the rubber-coating also provides lots of grip.

Clamp meter for no-break current readings
The clamp meter enables non-contact AC and DC readings. The benefit of this method is using the clamp to take current readings without the need to switch off and separate power circuits. This prevents plant downtime.

True RMS readings ensure accuracy
True RMS measurement enables reading of asymmetrical voltage and amperage with wave forms other than a sinus. Asymmetric voltages are very common in various types of dimmers, speed limiters, synchonised switches, pulse-type chargers, or scale model speed controllers. Which means that in these cases conventional meters displaying average readings are prone to large measurement errors.
