Description
The PQA823 model is an innovative solution for all professional technical measurement tasks with regard to network and performance analysis. Nine insulated measuring channels (5 x voltage + 4 x current) enable the simultaneous measurement of the phase and neutral conductor voltages and currents. The wide range of applications extends from the acquisition, display and recording of network parameters to the registration and analysis of performance and energy consumption.
Up to 251 measurement parameters can be recorded simultaneously. The models equipped with Windows CE have a large TFT graphic color display (320 x 240 px). The user interface is clearly structured with icons, which enable a simple and intuitive selection of each internal parameter. For each model, the parameters for both general and harmonic analysis can be displayed numerically and graphically. The “Vector diagram” graphic function allows, among other things, the immediate evaluation of the mutual phase shift between the incoming voltage and current signals and thus defines the type of loads.
The approx. 15 MB measured value memory allows the data of each recording to be backed up over many days (approx. 3 months with 251 selected sizes and 15 minutes integration period), but can be extended at any time with external Compact Flash and transferred to the USB stick, which simplifies the administration of the stored data considerably.
Recording
For each integration period (from 1 s to 60 min selectable) and for each size activated during recording, the device stores the largest value, the smallest value and the integrated average value in the set period.
Voltage anomalies
For the analysis of the voltage anomalies (dips and spikes), the devices carry out the control of the input voltages every 10 ms in relation to two limit values (which can be set from 1 % to 30 % of the nominal value of the voltages) and store:
• Date/time the event started
• Duration of the event
• Maximum or minimum voltage during the event
Harmonics analysis
The device PQA823 measures and draws the values of the voltage and current harmonics up to 49. Harmonic on, with calculation of THD % with displays in numerical form and with curves and histograms on the display in percentage or absolute value.
Flicker analysis
The devices measure and record the values of the strength of the short and long-term flicker (PST, PLT) with integration intervals according to EN 61000-4-15 and EN 50160.
Inrush currents
The PQA823 model performs the search and recording of the values of the starting currents (max. 1,000 events) of electrical machines when a specified limit value is exceeded. The interval can be selected from 1 to 4 seconds, max. 1,000 measured values are stored per interval.
