Description
The Sparkfun Tinker Kit (STK) is a great way to start programming and hardware interaction with the Arduino programming language. The STK is our latest version of the former Sparkfun Mini Inventor's Kit, mixed with elements of our MESA Educational Kit. Each Sparkfun Tinker Kit contains everything was needed to complete 11 circuits, which teach you how to flash an LED, read sensors, control servos and much more. You do not need any programming or electronic experience to use this kit.
The online STK Experimental Guide (in the Documents section below) provides step-by-step instructions on how to connect each circuit to the supplied parts. Full sample code is provided and explained, and even includes troubleshooting tips if something goes wrong.
The kit does not require any soldering work and is recommended for beginners from 10 years. This miniature version of the SIK is intended to prove that everyone can (and should) play with the latest electronics in a playful and entertaining way without breaking the bank.
