Description

The Renkforce Bluetooth Music Receiver allows streaming music without any annoying cables. Stream audio stored on any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet PC straight to your Hi-Fi stereo. Enables you to playback playlists on your smartphone or tablet PC at party-grade volume.

AptX® Bluetooth transmission ensures CD-quality audio
Until now Bluetooth streaming wasn't really an option for those who favour top-notch audio quality. The reason: the A2DP profile determining how audio signals are streamed adds another level of compression to MP3, AAC and many other audio file formats before transferring them. This results in a noticeable change of audio quality during playback.
aptX®, however, does not decode and re-encode MP3s or AACs during the streaming process, digitally packaging the audio signals instead before transferring them via Bluetooth. This enables transfering a greater amount of data despite the limited Bluetooth bandwidth as long as the device on the receiving end supports aptX® as well.

The Renkforce features two audio outputs that up the audio quality significantly: an analogue jack, and digital optical Toslink. The receiver also comes with a conventional 3.5mm-jack-to-RCA adapter that ensures compatibility to older home cinema equipment.
