WiFi speed of the new generation
The RT-AX56U is a 2x2 dual-band WLAN router that offers a bandwidth of 80MHz and 1024-QAM for significantly faster wireless connections. With a total network speed of approximately 1,800Mbps – 574Mbit on the 2.4GHz band and 1,201Mbps on the 5GHz band – the RT-AX56U is 1.5X faster than 802.11ac 2x2 dual band router.

With a revolutionary combination of OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology, 802.11ax technology delivers up to four times the network capacity and efficiency in high-traffic environments. The previous generation, 802.11ac WLAN can only process one device at a time on each network channel, which means inefficient use of available bandwidth. The OFDMA support in the 802.11ax WLAN standard divides each channel into small sub-channels, so that signals can be bundled and simultaneously transmitted from several devices*. This reduces latency and provides a smoother, more responsive WLAN experience.
