The Multi Touch Bricklet 2.0 is equipped with the MPR121 capacitive touch sensor and extends Bricks. It can be used to detect contact at 12 different places.
The part to be touched is called "electrode". The electrode may be a cable, electrically conductive tape, or the copper layer of a printed circuit board. Electrodes can detect contact through a thin layer of glass, plastic, paper or similar.
With the Multi Touch Bricklet it is possible to build an individual touch panel, in which one sticks a thin cover on the electrodes.
The Multi Touch Bricklet 2.0 has a 7-pin Bricklet plug and is connected with a 7p-10p Bricklet cable with a brick.
