Product description

Overview

Measures relative humidity and temperature
Output in 0.01%RH / 0.01°C steps (14Bit resolution)
Internal heating element, internal compensation

Description

With the Humidity Bricklet 2.0, bricks can measure relative humidity and temperature. The measured air humidity can be read in percent, the temperature directly in °C. With configurable events, it is possible to react to a changed humidity or temperature without constantly polling the values (no polling necessary).

The sensor compensates the measured air humidity internally with the temperature sensor. An API-switchable heating element, which is integrated directly in the sensor, can be used to dry the sensor in extreme humidity.

Typical applications are the construction of a weather station or in environmental measurements.

The Humidity Bricklet 2.0 has a 7-pin Bricklet connector and is connected to a brick with a 7p-10p Bricklet cable.

Characteristics

Sensor: HDC1080
