The Tinkerforge workbench is just the right one for all those who would like to experiment or present their structures in a clear way.
The Tinkerforge workbench is a plastic desk case with a 340x200mm front panel. The front plate is provided with a grid of 3mm holes, which are set at a distance of 5mm to each other. All Tinkerforge modules, as well as other printed circuit boards or other own hardware structures, can be attached to this grid. Cables can be led optically inconspicuously over slots and large recesses on the bottom side. Thus, despite the wild wiring, the structures are always tidy and tidy. In the center of the front panel, we have created space to secure a stack of bricks or a Raspberry Pi (this does not have a 5mm compatible grid). When a Raspberry Pi is mounted, up to four bricks can be mounted on the rear of the front panel “inside the housing”.
However, you can also screw on bricks at other points at any time. In the front and rear center struts, we have made further holes. You can also attach your own designs to these: For example, our HDMI display with a simple construction made of Makerbeam. If there is no mounting option anywhere, you can simply drill more holes into the plastic housing.
