The Air Quality Bricklet can:
· IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) Index,
· Air pressure in hPa,
· Humidity in %RH and
· Measure temperature in °C.
The IAQ Index describes air quality. In order to determine the IAQ index, the Bricklet measures ethane, isoprene (2-methylbuta-1,3-dien), ethanol, acetone and carbon monoxide (often called VOC, Volatile Organic Components) by adsorption. These gas measurements are combined with air pressure, humidity and temperature measurements to determine the IAQ index.
Typical applications for this Bricklet are air quality monitoring, environmental statistics, home automation, etc.
The Air Quality Bricklet has a 7-pin Bricklet connector and is connected with a 7p-10p Bricklet cable with a brick.
