Description
The AnyBus X gateway connects a PROFIBUS network to an Ethernet/IP network, enabling seamless information flow between the two PLC systems.
FAST I/O DATA TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO NETWORKS
The X-gateway is primarily intended for the transmission of cyclic I/O data between the two networks, thus relieving the PLC of additional tasks. The gateway is a slave in the PROFIBUS network and a slave in the Ethernet/IP network. Data transfer is transparent and up to 512 bytes of I/O data can be transferred in any direction.
SIMPLE COMMISSIONING - NO PROGRAMMING REQUIRED
The connection between the two networks is configured with the AnyBus Configuration Manager software. No programming knowledge is required for this. The I/O data volume to be transferred is preset to 20 bytes at the factory.
