To expand the product line of closed DC/DC converters, MEAN WELL offers the RSD series of power supplies, which meet a wide range of different requirements for automotive applications, now in output power of 300 watts. The RSD-300 series is characterized by a 2:1 input voltage range. The RSD series power supplies offer 4000VDC input/output isolation, 5G vibration damping, an operating temperature range of -40 to +70°C and a low 1U profile (25mm). In addition, they are equipped with built-in constant current limitation and protection functions against overload, short-circuit, overvoltage and reverse polarity.
With its highly efficient circuit design, THE MEAN WELL RSD series have an efficiency of up to 93%. All RSD converters are semi-encapsulated and can operate without forced cooling at ambient temperatures between -40°C to +70°C, making them suitable for harsh environments with high or low temperatures, dust and moisture.
