The PCE-RCM 11 air quality monitor is used for orienting testing of environmental parameters. The air quality monitor enables the measurement of fine dust, temperature and relative humidity. The bright display of the air quality monitor alternately provides information about the parameters already mentioned. The ambient monitoring can be done with the air quality monitor permanently for a period of up to five hours without the device being connected to a power source. For permanent measurement, the air quality monitor can be connected to the mains power via a USB interface. The new, complete charging of the battery takes place within two hours, if the air quality monitor is switched off. The display of concentrations is also simplified by the use of a color rating scale, which allows direct information on air quality to be passed on to the user. In addition to the orienting measurement of formaldehyde, which can have a harmful effect on health, an orienting measurement of the particulate matter load is also carried out. A distinction is made between particles with a maximum diameter of up to 10 µm (PM10) and particles up to a diameter of 2.5 µm (PM2.5).
