The sound level meter is a sound meter with an adjustable measuring range of 30 … 130 dB. On the one hand, the measured values are displayed as normal numerical values for the sound level meter and on the other hand graphically in the measuring range set by the operator. A special feature of the LEQ sound level meter is the LEQ measurement function (equivalent continuous sound level) in addition to the normal sound measurement. This measuring function is a globally recognized measure of the average sound load, in which the duration, frequency and intensity of the individual sound events are taken into account.In addition to sound measurement, the LEQ noise meter can also be connected to a process interface. The sound level meter generates a linear voltage signal of up to 2.5 V. With the stand holder on the back, the sound level meter can be optimally positioned for the application. Thanks to the 9 V interface, the sound level meter can be operated permanently stationary.
