The PCE-T 238 tachometer is a battery-powered handheld meter that allows mobile use. The tachometer can perform a contacting measurement as well as a contact-less measurement. It is also possible to measure the surface speed. The tachometer allows a measurement of up to 99,999 revolutions per minute. This measuring range is possible for contactless measurements with the optical tachometer. The contacting measurement can measure values up to 19,999 revolutions per minute, and surface velocity measurement provides the ability to measure speeds up to 1999.9 meters per minute. Such measurements can be started directly with the tachometer and do not require much preparation. The user does not have to pay attention to the direction of rotation when using the tachometer, as this device works independantly of and can be used. It is therefore grade to be used in the maintenance and maintenance of machines. The contact-free measurement also allows the speed of hard-to-reach components to be checked.
