The Braun Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi delivers excellent picture and video recordings at day/night. With the free app and WiFi, the camera can be accessed directly with the smartphone or tablet (P2P connection only within the range of the camera).

The use of Scouting Cams is clearly defined. A wildlife camera is available when owners of a forest property, tenants of a hunting ground or forester want to learn more about the wildlife and activities in their forest area. Thanks to so-called "photo traps" it is possible to observe wild animals such as foxes, deer or wild boars unnoticed and to monitor the wild stock during the day and night.
As a manufacturer of photography products, Braun Photo Technik is extending its extensive range of currently 4 game cameras to include the Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi. As the name suggests, the game camera is equipped with WiFi. With the help of a free app, the smartphone can be connected to the camera and the camera can be accessed. This is a P2P connection within the range of the camera. The camera cannot be integrated into the network. Thus, all the pictures can be viewed and the settings can be changed comfortably, without having to hang the camera. You can also see a live image in the app to control the orientation. A remote control for activating the WiFi function is also included in the delivery.
The Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi possesses a high-quality 8 megapixel CMOS image sensor as well as a PIR motion sensor with a detection radius of 120° and three sensitivity settings. For night-time recordings, the game camera has 34 black IR LEDs, which enable a trigger and night distance of 20 meters. The trigger time is only 0.6 seconds, while the trigger interval can be set between five seconds and 60 minutes.
The compact and waterproof camera housing (95x137.5x64mm) complies with protection class IP66. The 488 gram heavy brown Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi possesses a 2.0‘‘ color display for image control of the recordings, which are stored on an SD-card (up to 32GB, JPG and MP4-format). The 8 MP CMOS image sensor ensures excellent color recordings. The game camera also delivers videos with a length of up to three minutes and a resolution of up to 1296p at 30 fps. Even useful time-lapse recordings (video or photo/5 seconds to 60 minutes) are possible with the Scouting Cam. Standby time is approximately six months. The operating temperatures range from -20 degrees to +60 degrees. In addition, the Braun Scouting Cam Black800 WiFi possesses an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker, a password protection as well as the specification of date, time, moon phase and temperature. Power is supplied by eight AA batteries. The scope of delivery also includes a tree holder and a fastening strap, in order to fix the camera to a tree. Alternatively, it can also be placed on a stand independantly.
