Description

The i7C series non-insulated step-up/step-down converters with a rated output of up to 300W can be used universally thanks to a wide range of output voltage settings of 9.6 to 48V and a wide range input of 9 to 53V.

The i7C series is ideally suited to derive additional high-performance output voltages from a 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V DC power supply at a much lower cost than isolated DC converters.

The i7C modules are available in three different mechanical versions. The common area is 36.8 x 34 mm in combination with a 1/16 brick pinout. The most compact solution is the i7C as an open circuit board with a height of just 12.2 mm. For applications with higher ambient temperatures, there are further variants with base plate for contact cooling with 13 mm height or an integrated heat sink for convection cooling or air flow with 24.9 mm height.

The standard equipment of the i7C series includes a trim pin for setting the output voltage, + remote sense, remote on-off (positive or negative logic), over-current and over-temperature protection as well as an input side undervoltage switch-off. Optional models include power good signal, current monitor, and switching frequency synchronization input to reduce system noise when using multiple converters.

With efficiencies of up to 97%, these compact products are ideal for use in medical, telecommunications, industry, test and measurement, radio and television, as well as portable battery-powered devices.
