With the adoption of the advanced MIMO (multi-input/multi-output) IEEE802.11n, it works with two antennas simultaneously for sending and receiving, in order to avoid interferences and signal losses, when long distances or physical barriers have to be overcome in a small office or in a large apartment. This leads to an incredible improvement in the WLAN performance of 300 Mbit/s, even in a reinforced concrete construction.
