TL-FC111A-20 is a 100 M media converter with a 100 M RJ-45 connector and a 100 M SC fiber connector that can convert between electrical and optical signals. Long-distance data transmission over fiber can be applied to commercial scenarios such as park security monitoring and wireless networking.
The TL-FC111A-20 uses Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology, which allows data to be sent and received up to 20 km away with only one single-mode fiber. This saves customers half the cost of cable deployment. TL-FC111A-20 sends data at a wavelength of 1550 nm and receives data at a wavelength of 1310 nm on an optical fiber. Therefore, the end device used in connection with the TL-FC111A-20 should send data with a wavelength of 1310 nm and receive data with a wavelength of 1550 nm.
