Whether ferrous metals or non-ferrous metals: The film thickness measuring device SDM-2125 automatically detects the carrier material and determines the layer thickness either with magnetic flux or by means of eddy current measurement. The Voltcraft tester comes with standard accessories for measuring the thickness of the measurement, i.e. with a total of five inserts. The SDM-2125, which weighs approximately 180 g including a battery and can store up to 500 data groups, uses a tri-color indicator light to indicate compliance with the limit values (green = within the limit values; red = below limit; yellow = above limit values). In addition, the measuring device, which switches off automatically after five minutes when not in use, has the option of measuring at a single location, but also at several places. The mean value algorithm from single and multi-point measurement provides even faster results and thus accelerates the determination of the slice thickness.
