Valve 6407 is a servo-controlled piston valve. The fixed coupling of the pilot valve and piston allows the valve to be opened without differential pressure. The type 6407 is particularly suitable as piston valve for gas and steam, as well as liquids with low operating temperature below 0°C. Plug and core guide tube are welded together to increase pressure and leak resistance. Depending on the application, different seal material combinations are available. The coils are repressed with chemically highly resistant epoxy. Coils with integrated "Kick and Drop" (KD) electronics are available in double coil technology to reduce electrical power consumption during operation. In conjunction with a plug in accordance with DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, the valves comply with protection class IP65.
