Description

The rotary boiler evaporator, which has been developed from the ground up, combines the isochronous lock and cylinder damper functions previously considered impossible in a single, compact unit. The special round design with only 30 mm external diameter now also finally allows the installation in real round boilers, even with very small boiler diameters. This means that even smaller locomotives such as the LGB-Stainz or Franzburg can be equipped with this technical marvel. Equally unique is the even power consumption (max. 600mA, on average only 400mA). Third-party manufacturers sometimes require several times the power, was at the expense of the installed electronics and cabling.

The integrated cylinder steam outputs are closed at the factory and can be opened and thus used by the ambitious user on request. With a newly designed and enlarged fan wheel as well as optimized air flow, the round boiler evaporator makes every locomotive model really steam! As with all Massoth evaporators, temperature and dry run protection are naturally integrated for a long service life. An extensive hose set is also included in the delivery. The connection is made directly via the track, the control of the integrated decoder with DCC. the wheel and sound-synchronous cycle for the steam shocks can take place with an existing clock generator or by clock simulation of the vehicle decoder, depending on the requirements or model equipment. The programming is done by means of CV or POM.

Now diesel drivers can finally benefit from these advantages, since the round boiler evaporators delivered in the future are already equipped with the appropriate software to simulate the exhaust emissions of a diesel locomotive. This enables a CV change to be made easily by the customer. This software extension can also be carried out with user-programmable Massoth Service Tool (MST) in conjunction with the DiMAX PC module even with already delivered round boiler evaporators.
