Automatically optimized irrigation with the soil humidity sensor

Description

The moisture sensor from GARDENA automatically ensures that the garden is watered according to demand and water saving - thanks to measurements of the existing moisture content. This compact humidity meter operates according to an electro-thermal measurement principle and transmits the measured moisture content to an automatic irrigation control. Depending on the moisture level, the current watering cycle of the irrigation system is then skipped or stopped. In this way, the plants receive a reliable and accurate care. The sensor is compatible with the GARDENA irrigation and multi-channel controls. The 5 meter long connection cable enables a flexible positioning and can be supplemented if necessary with an extension cable. Thanks to its small and compact size, the Ideal sensor is suitable for beds and plants. The low height and flat top allow it to be used in combination with lawn mowers and lawnmowers. For accurate monitoring, all measured values on the connected irrigation control are to be seen. A low energy level of the two AA batteries (not included), which allow about one year of operating time, is displayed on the irrigation control as well as on an LED in the battery compartment, ensuring continued reliable operation.
