Description

The smart button Flic 2 is a small button that can be connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the Flic Hub or a PC/Mac. The battery-operated buttons are compatible with over 1000 devices and services, such as Philips Hue, LIFX, Slack, Sonos, IKEA Smart products, WEMO, etc. or the IFTTT automation platform. A small button that controls almost any connected device or service at the touch of a button.

The configuration of the Flic 2 button is carried out via the corresponding smartphone app. In this way, various scenarios can be automated by pressing a button. Each button can be assigned three different actions. These are then triggered by pressing a button, pressing a button twice or holding down the button.

The smart button Flic 2 can also control functions of a smartphone, such as remote shutter release for the photo app. The Flic 2 buttons can be integrated with the Flic Hub LR (not included in the double pack) if required.

The Flic 2 button can also be assigned any key function of the keyboard. After pairing via Bluetooth with a Windows PC or Mac (OS 10.14 or higher), simply press the Flic button to execute the command on the PC/Mac (e.g., space bar, pause/play, mute, etc.). The smartphone app is required to set the command in advance on the Flic 2, after which Flic 2 communicates directly with the Mac/PC without a smartphone app or hub.

The integration of Flic into HomeKit or Alexa can be done via the Flic-Hub. Dim the light, switch on the TV or start complex routines, simply by pressing a button.

Requirements
