Description

The high precision luminance meter MAVO-SPOT 2 USB for distance measurement with 1° measuring angle is classified in class B according to DIN 5032-7, IEC 13032-1 Annex B and CIE 69. It measures the brightness effect of a luminous surface in candela per square metre (cd/m²), taking ambient light into account. It has an excellent adaptation to the spectral brightness sensation of the human eye V (λ) and, with the small deviation of f1' < 3 %, is significantly better than the requirement from the standard. The object to be measured can be precisely located via the 15° field of view reflex optics and a sharply marked 1° measuring circle in the center. The distance setting ranges from 1 m to ... Shorter distances from 34 cm are achieved with optional close-up lenses. Alternatively, a top-mounted measurement via an optional high-quality measuring head is possible. Measurement functions can be selected and measurements started with the convenient one-hand operation. A push of a button activates the display in the viewfinder and its backlight. The comparison and ratio measurements are particularly advantageous; the deviation of a measured value B from a reference value A is evaluated and displayed. The ratio A/B is used for contrast measurement at the workplace. The percentage deviation %A enables the assessment of the uniformity of screens or the illumination of projection screens.
