Description
The Masterbox Q500L supports the installation of an ATX motherboard and power supply unit in a very compact layout. With the same external dimensions as the Masterbox Q300L, the support of an ATX motherboard was made possible by a maximum utilization of the internal space. Although the power supply is fitted as standard in the front, top of the chassis, the mounting bracket allows for repositioning depending on the form factor of the motherboard. If, for example, a Mini-ITX motherboard is used instead of an ATX in the Masterbox Q500L, the power supply unit can also be mounted at the conventional position on the bottom at the back. This would also increase the ventilation through the front. In the Q-series, the bar with the connections and keys is movable. This enables different orientations of the Masterbox Q500L. Thermal performance depends on the design itself, with the outside fully perforated to provide many cooling configuration options.
FULL-MOTION I/O PANEL
The modular Masterbox Q500L can be aligned vertically or horizontally with the rubberized wing screws, which also serve as feet. Depending on the hardware configuration, the movable I/O field can be moved to several positions for better accessibility.
VERSATILE POWER SUPPLY BRACKET
The power supply bracket allows the power supply to be adapted to different space requirements and form factors for motherboards. The holder can be moved up or down to ensure the distance to coolers or graphics cards. It can also be moved for ITX systems.
FULL-PERFORMED CHASSIS
The front, cover, rear and bottom of the chassis – the base frame – are fully perforated to support different fan configurations.
MAGNETIC DUST FILTERS
The magnetic dust filters are characterized by a unique design. Magnets enable quick dismantling and installation for easy cleaning of the dust filters. Fitted with rubber to prevent slipping of the filters.
COOLING OPTIONS
The underside supports up to two 120 mm fans.
The back side supports a 120 mm fan or 120 mm radiator.
The top side supports up to two 120/140 mm fans or one 120/240 mm radiator.
DRIVES SUPPORT
Two cages for two 2.5" or one 3.5" drives each
Possible configurations: 4x 2.5" drives | 2x 3.5" drives | 2x 2.5" drives + 1x 3.5" drive
SUPPORTED MAINBOARD
The internal layout and the position of the power supply adapt to the mainboard. If an ATX mainboard is used, the power supply unit is mounted on the upper front of the chassis and can be moved up or down. For Mini ITX motherboards, the power supply unit can be attached in the conventional position of the rear part in the lower area for better ventilation of the front panel.
CONCEALED CABLE GUIDES
There is space behind the mainboard tray for 27 – 30 mm of cable routing, whereby the entire circumference is provided as a channel for cable.Keywords
